Düsseldorf Mayor Josef Hinkel opens "Local Heroes Day

High-ranking visitor at the BOSS German Padel Open presented by SIXT: Even before the German padel pros hit the CASTELLO, Düsseldorf's mayor Josef Hinkel paid his respects to the tournament - and sprayed his personal padel euphoria at the kick-off of the "Local Heroes Day".

"I am thrilled that an internationally renowned tournament series like the World Padel Tour is a guest here in Düsseldorf. Padel is such a fascinating and up-and-coming sport that fits perfectly with our positioning as a dynamic sports city. Through the BOSS German Padel Open, Düsseldorf plays in a league with international metropolises like Buenos Aires and Miami, where the tour also stops. I can only recommend all Düsseldorfers to stop by the CASTELLO until Sunday and watch the sports spectacle," said Hinkel.
